Brava! I want to know this woman. Depth and breadth and humor and brains, you betcha!
What Beverly said.
Also, lots of 'go you!' and 'you can do it!' to the word-counters (the initials are a bit too complicated for me). It's Anne, Deena, Liese, Betsy, amych, Suela, erika, Theodosia and whom else did I miss?

I HAVE A BOOK!
Fed Ex just walked up the stairs and handed me a pre-mass copy of "Weaver" and it's fucking GORGEOUS!
(doing the happy dance)
Ten years, people. Forgot how cool it is to handle that first copy.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
Deb, I don't even have words for how I excited I am for you!!!!!
So, you're saying you never forget the first time you touch it?
Go You!
And thanks, Nilly. But I stalled and watched coffinsex today. I feel guilty.
Terrific, Deb. YAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
It's sooooo beautiful; lovely muted cover. The back has the same 19th century style curclecues, framing the following: "PRAISE FOR THE NOVELS OF DEBORAH GRABIEN" and then Tad's blurb, plus two reviews of "Plainsong" (SF Chronicle and Booklist) and "Eyes in the Fire" (Publishers Weekly and Kirkus). And you can see more of the cottage and more of the barn! And the "peeling back" is repeated, one tiny perfect bit, on the rear cover! And they used the same motif on the inside rear flap, for my photo!
