Hmm. But I'm busy in November.
The Great Write Way
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
Wow, okay, I'll do it too then.
See how handily I started with the whining and excuse-making, before even deciding to take on such an endeavor? Now I can fail, and I already explained why! No pressure!
Liese, do it, do it! It can be crap. They tell you to read Bird by Bird and that's all about the shitty first drafts.
And we'll egg you on, cheer for you, and, um, t frantically casting around for better reasons, I want you to.
I'm so embarrassed. I already feel I have nothing to say, but I'm committing myself to a long nothing.
Erika, you've got it in you. You couldn't write those amazing fics if you didn't.
I'm going to have a go. No idea what I'll write, but there can't be any harm in trying.
I'll have to try this NaNoWriMo thing as well. Now I've just got to think of something to write about.
Anne, Am-Chau, I'm so excited that you're doing it too. I looked and decided I didn't really want to do it with a bunch of strangers, and now all these wonderful buffista writers are doing it.
I figured out that at my usual, comfortable-for-me layout and font (arial, 11 pt., 1" margins), if I write 5 pages a day, then I'll have 5 days for editing.
I have no clue what I'm writing either, though I'm mulling over some ideas. In the profile, where it asked for title of WIP, I put Influx. I'm trying to figure out why, because I kind of like that. I don't think I've ever tried to write something to fit a title before.
t ignorant What is this National Novel Writing Month all you lovely people are planning on doing? t can't turn the 'ignorant' tag off
Deb, Susan, it's always so wonderful, to lurk in this thread and read your ongoing good news - I'm very happy for both of you (even happier 'cause I've read "Weaver" and loved it a lot, and currently loving FFoSM).
