It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Liz, if I do a stop in Philly, I'll be visiting my big brother; they live up the mountain, in Paoli, I think it's called.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The very thought of you on the east coast makes me happy-- I shall endeavor to close the distance to actual F2F if you are anywhere near!

Bev, any southerly visiting I get in would likely be at a later season. I'm not even sure I'd manage a flight between NY and Boston that time of year. Logan terrifies me anyway. Three times I've been to Boston, and all three times that damned airport was socked in with fog. And that was at different times of the year, too.

Trains, trains, all about the traaaaaaains...

East coast--anywhere on the east coast--is closer to where I can get to than SF. I will wait for news, and plot possible road trips.

Always Anti-fascist!

I have posted enough about my ignorance of geography that I feel compelled to say "Yes, I know you wouldn't come around this way on your way to Philadelphia." Just in case.

I'll see what I can arrange. Thing is, none of this is set up yet anyway. All depends.

You know, I'd love a polite way of saying to Ruth, "Hey, a small clue, if you would just stump up for the rest of the series, already, I could afford the damned plane ticket, now, couldn't I?"

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Hey, we just want you to know you're wanted, Deb...

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Deb, if you hit the East Coast, my school is *desperate* for real live writers to come visit. And if you do, that means lots of students will have to buy your book!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

There's a train station in Dallas.

Holli, are you by any chance in Maryland? As in, Baltimore?

Because send me a confirmation that the school wants a creative writing or lit or whatever lecture, and I can use that as additional ammo to talk them into helping pay for some of the trip....

I'd love to do the southwest. Every year just before spring training, we decide we're going to head south and watch the Giants. And then money or illness and we never do, damnit.

Really nice writers group tonight. Input!
