Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Could someone pick me up a couple?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Could someone pick me up a couple?

Is Ron Perelman still on the market? He could hook you up, I'm sure.

I'm kind of fascinated by the car-music talk, since I have no concept of such a thing, what with the not driving. Although I have on occasion been in a car with the perfect music playing.

I don't feel any better, even after a nap. Bleh.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Okay, this is just getting silly. There was a small puddle on the stairs outside my office, which I miraculously managed not slip in. Of course, the chick two steps behind me? not so lucky, and we both went boom.

Even when I manage to walk like an adult, I hurt myself.

You okay?

She knocked you over? Did you at least land on her?

I mean, to save yourself undeserved union with the ground.

Think so. I have ice on my ankle, but I didn't hit anything vital.

Kind of, though it was more of a stumble/partial fall, oh, maybe I'll just sit down kind of quickly-fall than a fall-fall, and nope.
