Ha!
My people don't do lorem ipsum text at all. We get garbled manuscript set into the design -- sometimes it's hilarious! Even for a first edition, they just take the copyedited files (we almost always have at least part of the ms. on disk) and scramble them and plug them in.
My viewing of the last series was all scattershot for some reason, so I don't think I even saw the last one. I'll get caught up eventually, especially if I start staying up way past bedtime again......
For those of you in the Northern Hemisphere - Happy Autumnal
Equinox! It doesn't happen until 9:03 PM board time, so enjoy those last 13 1/2 hours of summer!
I'm wearing a size 2 skirt today. Fits pretty well. Sure fits better than the size 8 I wore yesterday. That fit passably well, and much better than the 6 in the same style I also tried on.
I know this is the bit where I wish for standardised sizing, and I kinda do.
But then I look at so many of my clothes--I'd have to remember too many measurements, and not all of them *have* useful measurements. I mean, if it's free around the hips or sits halfway between waist and hip or has 3/4 sleeves or any of the other stuff that means that guys have a simple dress code and women get to play around--how do you size those?
how do you size those?
prayer and good lighting in a dressing room.
Certainly not by neck measurement and sleeve length, anyway. Or waist and inseam. Too many variables, too many clothes, and WAY too many women.
ION, my Sausage McMuffin with Egg had a little bit of eggshell in it.
The one good part about universal sizing is that I would be able to guesstimate what size jeans I wear. I was in a hoity-toity used clothing store, and the sizes were all 25, 26, 27, and I had
no idea
what size I would be. I know that's not a waist measurement in inches, and it's certainly not inseam. Same again, when you're shopping half-European brands, and the sizing labels do not translate. I'd be happy to memorize my measurements in inches and cm, if only I could rely on being able to use one or the other!

yeah, my McD's coffee was super strong and not a little bitter (like me). Very disappointing day Chez Ronald.
Man, now I want an Egg McMuffin and a hash brown. Without shells.
