If I get an interview for a job I know I don't want, I may have to do that.

Prince's Sexy M.F. : Good car/driving song, or not?
Depends on where you're driving. I tried driving up the 5 from LA once listening to Sign O' The Times, and the album and the highway were a surprisingly poor fit. It's still one of my top-5 desert island favorites, but definitely more city car music than flat open middle-of-nowhere road music (though "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night," "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man," and "The Cross" probably would have sounded fine on the 5; I just switched music before getting to those songs).
The Sexy M.F. album is even trickier, I think. No way to pass judgment without knowing what kind of driving you're planning for.
However, just as oddly, I've not yet found a stretch of road under any conditions under which The Smiths' "How Soon Is Now?" doesn't sound utterly fantastic.
Excel question for the hivemind.
I have a survey that I need filled out by about 500 people.
I need to create fillable fields, and be able to scoop the data out for a presentation with fancy pie charts and such.
Is there a way to create a fillable form that is password locked in Excel the way there is in MS Word, so that I can pluck the data out?

Oh, HELL yes.
I don't know Steph, I think JZ is right on this one.
Dunno about that one. But I'm finding it interesting what songs are good for running - Kanye you immediately fall into the beat with your footsteps, which is good for just running, can be a little weird during a race.

Can you do it in Access?
Also, how are you going to distribute it? Give out 500 copies of the spreadsheet? Stick one copy on the network?
If it were me, I'd create an Access database on a server that would just contain the data, and then have people run an Access client program that attaches to the data tables.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure you can do it in Excel too, as you can create forms in Excel. Not sure how one would do it without programming, but it's probably possible.
eta: The Excel spreadsheets could attach to a single Access (or other) database on a server.
Will some East Coast GA person will tell me if the recap special is worth watching?
Sure. I'm guessing no, but I'll watch it anyway.
I think I have a slight fever. Eh.
Thanks!
I probably will watch too, Jesse, at least while I am cleaning. I think I won't get to see the actual show until Saturday night though.
Fevers suck. I think I have one too though.
