When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Anyone around? I was at that point where I was just about to fall asleep and I heard a really loud noise. I'm not certain, but it sounded like someone trying to open my front door. I looked outside and didn't see anyone, and the noise was loud, so I don't think it was a stealthy burglar-type, but my heart is still racing.

I'm around.

I just saw the first 2 eps of this season's Spooks. OMG! ::flails::

Spooks? I know not of this show.

It's a British show, into its 5th season in the UK. They've been airing it on A&E in the US as MI-5 (but badly cut to meet the 43-minute window).

It's absolutely killer, with an HSQ like no other show I've ever watched. It's sort of like 24 plus Alias, but smart. This is a really good summary/discussion of the show that isn't too spoilery.

Anyway, season 5 just started up again in the UK and I got the first couple of episodes. So. Freaking. Good. Yoiks!

A smart Alias? That could be fun. I've heard of MI-5, but haven't watched it.

It's not as crackaddled as Alias -- as the link says, there is no Rambaldi or prophecies. But it's hella suspenseful, with mostly smart, interesting plots involving race and class and terrorism and corporate irresponsibility.

Oh, and guest stars include Anthony Stewart Head and Hugh Laurie. (Jules! Come back! All is forgiven!) Laurie left the show (he was a recurring character) to go be Dr. House, damn him. ::pouts::

ASH and Hugh Laurie? I think that's honestly too much hottness for one show. Dear me.

I think I'm going to do one more check of my front door and try going back to bed. My heart has slowed down some.

Sleep well!

And I'm off to bed as well, I think. G'night, Buffistas!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I would SO much rather have Jools Siviter than Dr. House.

Jools Siviter just simply ruled.

Swouncing

Skipping (I'm tired even of typing that, let alone of doing that all the time) in order to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Sue's birthday. Happy birthday, Sue! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
