I liked Studio 60, thought there was some great chemistry between Matt and Danny, and I suspect it's going to be a lot of fun.
Consuela is me. The Matt and Danny relationship was definitely the highlight of the show. Of course, IMO, Bradley Whitford can do no wrong when paired with Aaron Sorkin.
Happy birthday (belated) to erika, and (current) to Lori, and happy anniversary to Plei and hubby!
Aaarrrgh, mateys...
There is a "Breaking News" headline on MSNBC, with no actual story yet:
Tanks in streets of Bangkok amid rumors of coup attempt in Thailand.
Happy birthday lori!
Happy anniversary, PMM&DH!
Bravo is rerunning later this week.
I saw that, and have programmed the Tivo to try again, thanks. What I saw I liked, but it was extremely frustrating to have the picture cut off in the midle of a scene 3 times during the show, usually just as the dialog was rmping up. Apparently, having Bonjour turned on in iChat on the same ntwork as a Tivo wireless adapter will frell things up. At least, I hope that's what the problem was.
YAR!
Sue, you asked, in re Studio 60, if they (meaning TV peeps) still use 1" tape.
I don't know if it was a line you referenced, or someone using a big video tape cassette, as I was only half-watching.
Either way, I don't think they use 1" tape specifically, though some shows may, but they do use large format digi-beta cassettes that look an awful lot like 1".
826 Valencia is celebrating today with many events.
Arrrr, 'tis. I have to be swabbin' the decks at Blanca, otherwise I'd hie me down there fer some grog and camradARRRRRie.

Bugger.
Happy Birthday Lori!
Happy Anniversary Ple and Paul!
Bradley Whitford is kind of the anti-SMG for me. He seems like he'd be really cool and fun to hang around with in real life from interviews I've seen, but I just can't stand watching his characers on TV.
BBC News has this:
Tanks have taken up position around the Thai government headquarters in Bangkok blocking traffic, eyewitnesses have told Reuters news agency.
An army-owned TV station has altered its programming to broadcast images of the royal family and songs associated in the past with military coups.
The second paragraph makes me laugh... "It's that old military coup favorite, 'Let's Throw Out The Democratically Elected Government'!"
Bradley Whitford
Checked out my ass once on the WB lot.

Gee, between Leif and Bradley, the buffista women are getting a lot of random star action!

I did not know that military coups had sound tracks.
