I'm 17 in, and I'm still stuck on the meta. Sorkin
ranting on the set of TWW about the dumbness of network tv.
And with
Felicity Huffman
in the wings. Yeah, still stuck on the meta.
And the Sorkin-ness of Sorkin. Sorkining his little Sorkin-ass off.
VF were great live, at least when I saw them in '91.
I saw that tour! Although, sadly, I expect I saw them about 3000 miles from you. Also, it made me feel vaguely old even then.

I didn't see them on a solo tour! I saw them when Lollapalooza didn't have any stinking numbers after it!
Aimee, you would love my friend Laura. We got incredibly drunk on the Friday before Labor Day and she was adamant about forcing me to watch her VHS tapes of NKOTB. Fortunately, for me, she threw away her VCR the previous weekend. The two of you would likely get along fabulously!
Loved Studio 60. It took me a little while to get into it but the final half hour grabbed me.
I did not see the originalpalooza -- I just happened to catch a show the summer after graduating from college. There was much disaffected standing around glaring at all the young'uns who couldn't possibly understand how we felt about VF when they were, like 8. And we were, like, 15. Oh, the disaffectitude!
I spent the evening watching the first two eps of
Spooks
S5. Love this show so, so, so, so much. Whee! It's back.
I only saw Lollapalooza 2, but the lineup made me very happy at the time -- Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Ministry, Body Count (Ice-T's metal band), the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and my personal favorite event of the day, the Jim Rose Circus Sideshow (almost certainly not work safe).
›Sorry. I get VF Tourette's at the slightest provocation.
I was
delighted
that Gnarls Barkley did a cover of "gone daddy gone" on their album
Man, I LOVED Body Count. I'd forgotten they even existed until now.
oh Body Count! the drama. and now Ice-T is a semi respectsble actor.
