vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Well, you're right on the money for me, T!C.

HMOG, just the prologue for Studio 60 and already I think I'm hooked.

I can honestly say I had no teen or preteen celeb crushes. Don't know why, just didn't. Didn't have many real people I knew ones either. Many embarrassing things from those years, but I skipped that part.

My drink of choice is straight up single malt scotch. Had a thing for g&ts with lime but soon figured out that t& lime was really what I liked. Though gin is still good.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I actually had you in my "26-28" column.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, my students thought I was some sort of prodigy when they googled me and realized I graduated college in '89. Hah!

Music when we were in college really wasn't very...good.

I don't know, it was a pretty good time for alternative music. But Bruce and U2 were pretty big at my school as well. It was quite a change from my prep school, which was heavy into the Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, etc.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I heard word that it's Erika's birthday. Hit a shot of Jameson's for me!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I was in college '79 to '83. Lots of great music came out in that stretch.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Mmmm, Violent Femmes.

Too bad about Willy. I guess he didn't sing a duet with the sheriff in Lafayette the way he did in Jefferson Parish - I always assumed that was a "I won't see those drugs if you let me sing" deal because Sheriff Lee was a truly terrible singer.

I don't really know anything about NKoTB, possibly because I am approximately Cindy vintage.

hip deep in pie

Happy birthday Erika!!

Erika, I wish you a Stamos, Cassidy, or long-haired pretty of your choice...

Trudy, it's my birthday Wednesday, so if you could send Rick Springfield my way...

Guest #1 left this afternoon. Guest #2 of the week arrives tomorrow, with her dog. God knows what surprises will arrive with Guest #3 on Friday. (That's my sister, so likely a frozen lasagna from my mother.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I seem to have graduated right from the Monkees into Lou Reed and Iggy Pop. Perhaps David Bowie was an intermediate step? Ah well.

Punishingly Intricate

My sister!

Music when we were in college really wasn't very...good

It was for me in Boston living across the street from the Paradise. Pixies! Throwing Muses! etc., etc.

Is anyone else watching Studio 60? Miss Isringhausen from Deadwood is in it! It's okay. Maybe too Sorkiny for me.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm watching Studio 60 but I haven't seen deadwood yet so have no idea what you're talking about except that it is chockful of actors I recognize as well as actors who look really really familiar.
