Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks Aims!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm debating late bath vs quick shower.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Of course, since there is no vaginal birth ever in my future,

Really? They said they did a lot of VBAC at our hospital. Or are there other complications?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

If you have time at all? Late bath. Otherwise a quick shower. Baths are so much better when you can have them.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My OB/GYN won't do them and there have been a lot of insurances not covering them due to the risk of uterine rupture, even with a low transverse incision.

I also like the idea of having a definite birthdate. Makes getting childcare for Em next time around a lot easier.

I also like that my girly bits are still where they should be.

Well, I don't have to be anywhere until 8am tomorrow, so theoretically, I have the time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This was a lost weekend for me. Not in a social sense, since I got to two parties and did some great hanging out, plus watching some great black belt sparring, and doing some great training myself (we snuck into the training of the black belts who tested today, and were graded too. I passed on the techniques we did--not as well as I'd like, but I have six months to get better).

So lost in that I managed two loads of laundry, and nothing else "useful."

I guess, as long as I don't make a habit of it.

Happy birthday, Lee! Happy birthday, board!

eta: I finally got enough time on the Internet to confirm that it was C Thomas Howell that I saw at dinner on Friday. The associative pain I had when my brain stopped at 80s movies / The Outsiders was palpable. Uh, like pain is, I guess.
