Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I said it was interesting, not offensive. and it wasn't directed at anyone in particular.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

ION, my interview outfit just came together perfectly. That never happens!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's great, brenda! I love it when an outfit comes together.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Ah, okay. My bad. I was sensing snark where there was none intended.

Kristin, I'm glad you posted anyway, not because I thought you had offended before, but because your experience is so parallel to my own that I appreciated seeing it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My class was pretty progressive for a 1996 hospital-run course. Giving birth in the same hospital that ran the course was completely different. The course was all, "Stay on your feet as long as possible." The L&D nurse was all, "No you can't get up, not even to go to the bathroom."

Once again, I feel like I got lucky with my birth experience here.

Because the L&D nurses were all about me trying position changes and the tub before going for the medicated option, and even when we went for medication, were all about "let's try the less heavy-duty stuff first!"

The only vague regret I have is not requesting the squat bar, but by the time it would have been needed, I can safely say I wasn't thinking all that clearly.

In conclusion, thank goodness for the wireless option when you're in a situation requiring continuous external fetal monitoring.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yay, rooibos!

I'm having a flakey and useless day. Flake is one thing...flaking that messes other people up makes me feel bad. That's not me. I can mess my own shit up.

Ah, well. Home to shower and start errands, and then off to watch the end of a black belt test. One of the testees (uh, that looks wrong) is a boxer, so they're bringing in the literally big not literally guns. They're bringing in a UFC fighter and a 6'8 mound of muscles. Should be fun.

The evil is this way?

Isn't tonight the last broadcast of theWB?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also the premiere of The Amazing Race 10 , which still finds me looking forward to it. Last season made up for a lot of disappointment.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes. The Intro to the CW thing is on now (in Chicago) -- I think everywhere else has the Felicity pilot.
