Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah. "Fuck it. Nothing we do matters.'

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If nothing we do matters, then what matters is we do nothing.

Wait a sec....

Well, if I had to guess what lazy cynicism is...

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Did anyone see Men in Trees ? I watched it, okay part of it, because nothing else was on and it's supposedly set in Alaska. The scenery appears to be Southeast, but then the Alaskan dude tells the main character that she "forgot her mukluks" when she steps into the mud. I know that true realism is too much to ask for, but:

I saw a bit of it (post-baseball game, closed-caption) before Martin dragged me out of the restaurant (luckily, they know and love me there). I'm afraid I was a little, um, vocal in my crankiness with a few details. Northern Exposure primed me well.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Yeah. I was trying to be a little bit polite. But not much.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I saw the first few minutes. I recorded it and it was late so I chose sleep. I'll watch the rest tonight and decide whether it's worth a go.

Lazy cynicism=too lazy to snark?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Whitney Houston files for divorce. And I had such high hopes for those kids. [link]

Well, sure. How else is she gonna git with Osama? (And if she finds him, George W would like her to pleeeaase give him a call.)

More like too lazy to do anything but snark. Not that that applies to me. In any way.

(For instance, see the above post. You don't see me out tromping around Afghanistan, I mean IraqPakistan looking for OBL, do you? Lazy-ass liberalism strikes again. Unlike our fearless leadership who are -- what was that? Pakistan said let's not bother? Nevermind.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"Why do you keep insisting on calling it that?"

1) Actually, you called it that. Tell me what else to call it.
2) Because that's what it's called.

Somehow the migraine I drugged and napped away between meetings didn't come back.
