If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I love it. Clearly, we should sit up and watch it and drink Fernet one night. Yes.

Can I come?

Opposite of obvious - counterintuitive?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, do you like Reuben sandwiches or kidney beans? (Or, I said OR. Don't worry. I'm not creating some kind of Frankenstein's Sandwich.)

Not so much with the Reubens, since I don't like Swiss cheese or sauerkraut. I do like kidney beans.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Data are data.

Data are plural! Oh, nearest and dearest to my heart!

(A wmoan in a psych doctoral program told me once that if you say "the data is" at any point in your oral defense you'll be failed out of the program. Hopefully that's an exaggeration, but way to put the fear of Greek number-agreement into people!!)

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Not so much with the Reubens, since I don't like Swiss cheese or sauerkraut.

Try it with provalone and cole slaw instead!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I sincerely hope that PC is not trying to bogart the Fernet.

I have no interest in consuming the Fernet. I only like the effect it has on the women around me.

Calli, I'm so sorry. {{{Calli}}}

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Opposite of obvious - counterintuitive?

I would argue that "counterintuitive" says more than just "not obvious" - it implies that it's easy to get mislead/get the wrong info/etc. Wheras "not obvious" just means the info (or whatever) is difficult to get.

FREAK!

Now, brenda, we must be kind to the unbelievers.

Yeah, I kind of thought about that. But I think the difficulty is really that obvious can have a pretty wide range of meaning, so I'm not sure any one opposite is going to suffice.
