Yeah, he's apparently bringing lots of wine home these days. I told him he knew where I live if he needs a home for any of the spares.

Skipping lots to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Trudy Booth's birthday. I hope that despite the difficult date, it will still be a good day for you, Trudy, and a great year to come.
Happy birthdayTrudy.
And hi Nilly! Miss seeing you around.
Yeah! Trudy! Happy Birthday
SA! You're in Ireland already, right? I'm so out of the loop - how is everything going?
StolenCubicle, I've never posted with you before (which may be all because of my skipping tendencies), so welcome aboard.
Woah! A Nilly sighting. Best thing that's happened today so far. Of course, mind you, the other events today have been banging my head against the shower wall, and finding out my childhood pet died so...Not much competition.
I know it's been a while but I just wanted to stick my head in and wish all the USians a good day today, or at the very least a day not too filled with unpleasant memories.
and hiya Nilly,
and Birthday Happies to Trudy

I am! I'm at my job in Dublin right now. I've begun to settle a little bit, which has been nice, and went on a day trip up the coast this weekend. It was so nice to get out of the city; I've never lived quite as in the thick of things as I am right now, so it's a definite adjustment in living. Especially because I was living in rural Tennessee with a population of 2360 people! Big change to 1.6 million here in Dublin.
Happy Birthday TRUDY!!!
SA, I thought you lived in Chicago for at least a little while during semester breaks -- but maybe I was thinking of someone else!
I haven't dared look to see what the Nielsens were for that awful 9-11 movie. Instead I watched part of the Ted Koppel documentary about the price of security. He had one segment devoted to that poor naturalized Canadian guy who got extradited to Syria on account of he was changing planes in JFK on his way back to Canada, which I'd been somewhat aware of, but got more and more appalled by what happened to him as the whole thing was related.
I am so ashamed of my country, more so than ever before.
