Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

I wish Spydaddy well

I wish him better hair on his next show.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey y'all. I skimmed a little, but mostly skipped. Am home from my friend's wedding, which was fucking awesome. I think I have to go to bed now if I'm going to be able to work tomorrow. Oy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY for awesome weddings, Jesse.

Night.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is it too early to go to bed?

If I got up at 7 to drive back to Houston?

And then went directly to a three-hour rehearsal?

And there's nothing on TV except 9-11 anniversary stuff?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I vote no, Dana, even if I am still up. I have stuff on my DVR to get through!

What is even happening?

That poor fish. The story's sad, and hysterically fun, and all the while, there's not enough, "Ew," in the world.

You'd think I'd have learned not to click on her links, but no, I go ahead and turn

This nearly caused Pepsi on my monitor.

I don't think I could've survived that restaurant. I'm proud to know people who could, though. I think.

I'm going to see if I can get my dvd player to work and watch Constant Gardener extras. But I'm thinking it won't, because it sure didn't yesterday. Stupid dvd player. It was cheap about 3 years ago, but sheesh. I hardly used it. Of course, that may be part of the problem. Cathair may have eaten it.

My parents have been married 38 years this past week. Someone asked her what a secret to a happy marriage that long was. She couldn't say, but they describe the date as in the year of assassinations, 1 month after Hiroshima, 3 months before Pearl Harbor and they both find this terribly funny. That's gotta be an element of it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No chocolate cupcakes today. Banana bread is baking.

Watching the Open final on tape delay. Unfortunately, in checking to see if it had run over, I couldn't help but notice it went at least four sets. It adds a weirdness to the tension.

"I love their text! It just has so much sub."

I am traumatized.

Why? Why did I click on the link?

What part of Rapping Christian Pirates did I not understand?

Why is this worse than that music video of the crew from Muppet Treasure Island singing "Frigging in the Riggin?'"

I feel like I just did the psychological equivalent of asking ita to fight. Why did I do it?

I am unworthy of even being called newbie. Why?

Art Crawl!!!

It also started late. I thought the broadcast was starting at 3 Central and instead there was football coverage for at least 30 minutes.
