It's so fucking twisted. They say they don't have a nurse coming in to give him his shot until TUESDAY. He's supposed to get it every month--but since he's acting paranoid and psychotic, he didn't get it (even though my father delivered the meds to them himself). Most likely, J refused to take it and they just let it go. Then they refused to give my parents any information about him. Mom could tell he was off his meds, though.
He was *supposed* to have a hearing today, so they're going to take him into court completely fucked out of his mind and that's not going to do him any good, either.
He's in there for public intox or disturbing the peace or something stupid, but it was violating his probation for theft last year (when he was still on crack and stealing from my parents to pay for it).
The last time this happened, I had to threaten the Medical Director of Indiana's Department of Corrections over the phone. I really hope it doesn't go that far this time. I don't have the energy for this fight.
Oh Cashmere, I'm so sorry they make your family's hell even worse.
Last night walking the dog I was approached by a woman I thought was begging, she wasn't, just needed to talk. We talked for a while, she was so lonely, I hope I made her feel a little better. So. alone.
Your brother will never be that alone.
Cashmere-- that sucks. Just sucks
I also have to complain... about my ears. I have an ear infection and the pain is drving me craxy! I can't have the antibiotic drops because they have CIPRO in them, and I am allergic, so I only have oral antibiotics, which are not giving me much in the way of quick relief! The doctor also has me rinsing out my ear with white vinegar, but I can't really do so at work. Even after taking ibuprofen, which ratchets things down to a dull pain, I am getting stabbing pains that I feel like I would rank a 9 on a pain scale of one to ten. I am annoyed, because I get an ear infection in September every year. Why, why, why....
Cash, I am so sorry about the asshats.
Brackets to infinity for Cashmere.
And some for Sophia too. Hate hate HATE ear infections!
Cashmere, that's horrid. I hope you don't have to go the full threatening route this time.
Sophia, I hope you feel better soon.
I'm home now, in jammies and fuzzy socks.
And Cash, we have a brazillion lawyers around here. Vortex seemed up for a fight the other day. Let her call and save yourself the aggravation.
It sucks that that happened again, Cash. It doesn't make any sense. Wouldn't he be a better prisoner on his meds?
Yes! We need to let Vortex call someone! Those of us playing along at home need the vicarious gratification.
