I just heard about the ABC miniseries 'Path to 9/11'.
The liberal media strikes again.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Liquor laws are stupid! I boggled when I moved to Massachusetts and couldn't buy beer when I wanted to. In Florida you could go to a 24 hr 7-11 and get whatever you wanted. And the drinking age was 18 when I was in high school which meant you could usually get stuff uncarded when you were sixteen.
Of course, without blue laws we wouldn't have Sundaes.
Belated birthday wishes to flea!
And happy birthday to Lyra Jane too.

Yeah, they're just making up lies about the Clinton administration....
It does, but you can only buy one at a time. None of this polygabeer.

Do you have fun reminding them that Bush's nationwide approval rating is only 36%, not 50?
It's the work of atheistic, America-hating liberals. Only in Utah is the true worth of our divinely guided government recognized.

And even there Bush is only bringing in 50%.....
And even there Bush is only bringing in 50%.....
It leads to tension between the believers and the fallen.
Imagine my surprise at seeing beer in grocery stores in Virginia for the first time.
heh, must have been like the suprise I had at seeing liquor in the grocery store in South Carolina.
In Virginia, you can buy beer and wine in a grocery/convenience store, but you have to buy liquor from a state regulated store. I think that you can only buy booze up until midnight, though I've never tested that. I thought that you couldn't buy booze on a Sunday, but recently discovered that my local ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) store was open from 1-6 on Sundays! (after church, of course)
I don't want their stinking EZ-Pass, either. I don't make enough trips to make it worth my effort.
They'll pry my IPass from my cold dead hands. Not, um, literally one hopes. But even though I very rarely drive the freeway, maybe once every six weeks or so, it's really nice not to have to stop. And every so often you see one of those massive jams at the cash lanes that make it all worthwhile right there. (Plus in Illinois, cash lanes pay double.)
Even though I only use it once a month or so, I have the EZ-Pass, which means that I don't have to go fumbling around for change, and get to wave merrily at all the toll-payers in their long long slow lines as I carefully zip past through the EZ lane. It's like a TiVo for your car, sort of!
The MA pass - "Fast Lane" - I got long ago (it still says Bank Boston as its sponsor) works in all EZ Pass lanes from Maine to Maryland. Maybe even more, but that's as far as I've driven with it.
Why is ours Fast Lane when EVERYONE else is EZ-Pass? Something to ponder.
Ooh, porter!
