You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I just got back from a haircut. It had been about 4-5 months, and the huge shag of hair on my head and the back of my neck was making me very miserable in this heat. It's now very short on the back and sides, and it feels SO GOOD!

Yay, msbelle!

Happy Birthday, flea!

IOPoliticalN, has anyone else heard about this? Apparently, the Canadian timber industry is giving the White House (not the United States as a whole, but specifically the White House) $450 million. As the link's headline says, WTF???

THANKS everyone. I know I am all MAC LIKES CARROTS OMG!! believe me when I say the people at work are having it much worse.

You are not all "MAC LIKES CARROTS OMG!!" Truly. This is a huge, wonderful development in your life, msbelle. I don't even think you've approached the phase where we could be sure mac's even tasted carrots.

Is mac already in the U.S.?

not here yet, we will go to meet him and pick him up some 2-6 weeks after the court date. setting specific dates happens one step at a time. so in 3-4 weeks, I'll know an exact court date. ANd if things pass through the court. a day or two after the court date I will know the embassy date and can then buy travel tickets.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Speaking only for myself, I'm pretty convinced that mac does like carrots, and I think it's WONDERFUL and I want to hear all about his carrot-loving. Whee!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I, too, want to hear about his carrot-loving, and/or carrot hating, for that matter. I just meant msbelle isn't over-macking us.

Oh, I know, and I quite agree - I was just taking the carrotty riff in a slightly different direction.

(Wee dude's going to be thinking, WHAT is with these random imaginary strangers and why do they care about my opinions of strange new root vegetables?)

Didn't someone (Plei, maybe) have a tag once that was something like, "All carrot, no stick"?
