Librarian Warlord

My sister and I used to watch "Unsolved Mysteries" (aka "Untold Miseries" in our lexicon) and discuss when we could back in the olden days before watch and post. (Talk about uniformly poorly written.)

Because books.

The Black Dahlia case isn't known by most people, you think? Huh.

See, I've known about that for years, but that may just be my twisted interest in true crime.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't have a particular interest in true crime, and I was at least vaguely aware of it even before the book came out.

I don't have a particular interest in true crime, but I'd heard of the Black Dahlia case. Though, I couldn't really tell you any details. Just one of those things you've heard of.

(ETA: Or, what Jesse said.)

I'm watching Miami Ink and taping Nip/Tuck. Good times.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm watching Nip/Tuck, and it is good times. But I can't believe how heavy Kathleen Turner is. Is it for real?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I was surprised, too, Jesse. And, damn, her voice has gotten deep.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Boy, the Zodiac killer murdered more people than I thought. Huh. Why is there no movie about him? (Her? Or is there?)

Zodiac is in development, I think. Or at least I've been holding onto its Hollywood Stock Exchange security for awhile. Also Bob mentioned a movie with Mary-Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Kevin Kline last night where they solved the murders? Will probably ETA with the imdb.

ETA: Zodiac with Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo, dir. by David Fincher: [link]

The other was the January Man, and I bet Bob was mistaken about it having to do with the Zodiac killer, but I've never seen it.

I've heard of "Black Dahlia", but other than "it involves murder", i so couldn't tell you what the case was about.

Paul Wellstone is on that Wikipedia list of mysterious deaths! Huh.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I knew about Black Dahlia. But I have a morbid interest.
