I went to the doctor and I have osteoarthritis. Now I remember why I like my GP, even though I seem to confuse him endlessly. He wouldn't look startled when I asked "So the impact exacerbated the osteoarthritis?" or try and leave before giving me a prognosis.

I also had him look at the rash that surfaced a couple weeks ago and has been spreading--seems I'm allergic to something.

After nagging I got a prescription for celebrex and a topical something something for the rash.

Doof.

Boo - ita's body. There are some Dr. that treat fibro that think osteoarthtritis is fibro that has gone untreated for too long. This place is where I get my fibro meds: [link] they have articles on arthritis there also.

Bleah, it's cold and wet here, which isn't helping my congestion issues.

Erin! I've got your book, but what with everything happening last week, I didn't get over to the post office to mail it. I'll make sure to get it out this week, I swear!

Although, I was excited to see Chloe's collection, too, and it was way too formal for me.

I was bored by Chloe's collection. If you listen to Tim's podcast for that episode (and I really recommend them in general--he gives a lot of backstage dish), it seems like she won by default because they didn't want to give it to Santino. He says that Kara's collection was way better than any of the three finalists. Because she knew she was out, she really took risks.

Thanks for asking Cindy. She's fine. She was basically up and about (within reason) a week or so after her hysterectomy (some new high tech robot surgery at Dana Farber), which is just incredible to me. Since she was stage 1A, she doesn't need chemo or radiation. And so far she's had no real syptoms from her instant menopause. Amazing.

The doctors were actually very optimistic the whole time, so it shouldn't be too surprising, but the initial diagnosis just took us to a really scary "OMG our mother died of this" place for a while.
