'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Dr. says "no idea" could have been a blocked saliva duct that has cleared, but she doesn't feel it in my jaw. good news is no infection. she said probably nothing to do with the canker sore.

I am putting heat on the tenderarea of the jaw, am massaging it, will watch for any additional sweeling or increased pain, AND, just for good measure, am eating sour candy.

What is even happening?

Well, yes. I mean, your health is at stake.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So weird, msbelle. But better weird than bad, I guess.

I was just reading Dave White's Project Runway recap, and thinking about how the middle-ish people really got kicked off too soon, leaving the good ones and the nutters. So the final three had better be who you'd think it will be, because none of the other people left deserve it.

Yeah, I'm not doing any work today. Maybe I'll send out one little thing, but eh.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm thinking the Runway final three will be Michael, Uli, and either Jeffrey or Laura, depending on how the next few challenges go. Kayne's over-the-topness makes me think he'll be out after Vincent, whom I'm guessing is gone this week. Jeffrey is talented within his comfort zone, but I've yet to see him pull off something truly stunning. Laura and Uli both share that reluctance to break out and do something different, but they both can deliver stunning as long as it's within their parameters.

I think Michael will end up winning it all--at least, I hope he does!

You know, I think I had something like that not that long ago. It was knot-like near the jaw hinge and very sudden, as in a matter of minutes. I freaked and took benadryl (because I'd just eaten something that I hadn't had in a long time) and put a hot compress on it. It was gone by morning, but I still have no idea what it was, or whether anything I did made any difference.

Yeah, I think you're right. I'd been convincing myself that there's no way Jeffrey could make it, but ugh. Those four have got to be the final four, though, right? Poor noodle Kayne just has no taste.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Here's an amusing link for all who work in an office. [link]

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Kayne comes up with something neat every so often - his Mariyn thing was pretty cool - but he crashes and burns often enough that I don't think his luck will hold.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That's my take too, though I'm not sure Laura's ever pulled off "stunning" either. Of all of them, I think only Michael's ever been consistently creative, as opposed to just consistently good at one thing.
