Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You know we need a spinal tap, right??

Or you could save the day, and take it in October...

Dude, I have Many Days. I have accrued a week of leave and have taken a day and a half.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dude, I have Many Days.

Oh, in that case, never mind.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wonder how long I will continue to be shocked and awed about the amount of leave time I have in this job?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Salt's antibacterial or antiseptic or something. I am unsure of the precise term that applies, but it reduces the chance of infection.

So this weekend, someone in the Toronto office I've never heard of calls me, puts me in a conference call, and asks if I can log onto a system in the Tokyo office and look at a problem.

I fixed the problem, but for some reason my fixing it caused a big kerfuffle, with people pointing fingers at each other trying to assign blame for what originally caused the problem.

Another reason why I should just stop fixing things at work.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

oooh! what's in the gift bag?

Since my comp has been going kablooey, I'm looking at an iBook G4 that's on sale for $800 at the Caltech store. Can I afford it? No. But book notes should be coming soon, and I can't afford the perpetual crashes, either.

Cracking open my iMac and changing the battery also seems dangerous. I'm so scatter brained.
