Wash: Don't fall asleep now. Sleepiness is weakness of character. Ask anyone. You're acting captain. Know what happens you fall asleep now? Zoe: Jayne slits my throat, and takes over. Wash: That's right. Zoe: And we can't stop it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK. Laundry is in, living room and kitchen have been vacuumed (I hate sweeping). Nice that I had three days to clean my small apartment, and have left it until now.

I had a bad dentist in my early teens, added to bad genetics, and I had two teeth break and one root canal, all in high school. Now I have two crowns on the two broken teeth, but no new work since then. Phew! Of course, it's been years since I've been to the dentist, and now I have insurance again, so I'm planning on going this fall.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I haven't got as much done as I wanted, but am still pleased with my day. I'm getting caught up with all the DVDs I've bought over the past year or so and never took the time to watch. 'Tis fun.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Beverly and Jen, I'm zenkitty_714. (I'm wildly inventive with the names!) The discussion is August 21. It's really a tempest in a teapot; hardly anyone reads my LJ except for a few friends and one amusing stalker.

Maybe you can tell me, if you do read it, if I was out of line or too sensitive. It just really rubbed me the wrong way.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You're still ahead of me, Jesse. I went to TJs, and to get the cat's insulin, but now I think it might be nap time, instead of cleaning time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You've got three hours on me, Lee. I just left the house for the first time, to put in the laundry.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Jerry Beer should get the Red Stripe spokesman to campaign for him. Hooray Beer!!
snerk!

I think I need another nap. Also I really need to prep for a meeting tomorrow. If I had a printer, I could multitask until I fall asleeeee....

The status is NOT quo.

Zen, I don't think you're being oversensitive in your journal. The dude is in love with his own rhetoric and can't shut the fuck up. You've admitted to your opinion, yet he's still in lecture mode and totally condescending. I think you need to ban him from your lj or he'll just keep coming back.

I forgot to say

I'm getting caught up with all the DVDs I've bought over the past year or so and never took the time to watch. 'Tis fun.

I totally support this as a vital to-do item!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Watched tennis, did kettlebell (I think I'll be moving up in weights for some exercises next week), sat in the sun in a string bikini. Now, showering, more tennis, and then Crank tonight.
