hip deep in pie

This is why I KNOW I am an introvert, despite all my cow-orkers protests-- I need like 5 hours of self time a day! And, like, a whole weekend day.

Totally. And I definitely don't do a half hour of cleaning my house a day, and all I do is come home from work!

Jesse and Sophia are me. Since I've got the new floors however, I thiink I have to start vacuuming/sweeping more. The cat hair is insane!!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I can't remember the last time I had 8 hours of sleep (as opposed to being in bed for 8 or more hours - I don't count lazing about or visits from the insomnia fairy). I seem to only need about 4-6 to get through the day without feeling droopy. Sometimes, if I've slept longer than 5 or so hours, I feel more sleep-deprived than if I've barely slept at all, but I suspect that's due to the quality of the sleep I had, not the length.

Which I guess means I'm asking Gud if he feels sleep deprived, as opposed to just figuring he is by the amount (or lack thereof) that he gets.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gud, I know this is weird coming from me, but three times a week should be just fine. I do more because I realy like it, because I'm stupid, and because I have the time.

If you can drop down without feeling physically twitchy (addicted to exercise? oh, the idea) I doubt your health will suffer significantly.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, speaking of cats, I have a cat-TMI question: how on earth do his poops change consistency when he eats the exact same thing all the time?

Oy. I'm out of sick time.

Luckily I've been too sick to use up much of my vacation, but this bites.

Compassionately intolerant

Fela used to be around 5 ngihts a week. Now it's 2 or 3. Funny how we don't fuss as much anymore. People would say I'm extroverted. But, without oodles of alone time (with the pooch, of course) I just can't function.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Is your cat sick? That's the only thing that comes to my mind.

Random trash snacks? A virus? Stress?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I generally get 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 hours of sleep a night unless I intentionally stay up late, but that's mostly due to the side effects of sweet, sweet lisinopril-HCTZ. And comes at the cost of my former committment to keeping a clean apartment.

Thankfully, the hypertension meds also seem to keep me from getting too upset about living in a pigsty.

I don't think he's sick, but maybe he has a touch of something. Where he got it, I have no idea. Maybe he ate a bug or something? Anyway, no big whoop -- he just had a big stinker last night, which is unusual.
