River: You're not right, Early. You're not righteous. You've got issues. Early: No. Oh, yes, I could have that. You might have me figured out, then. Good job. I'm not 100%.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

On Sunday, wasn't George all, "Well, what Mike Boogie said made sense, so I'm going to listen to him." Not that that's necessarily a DEAL-deal, but that would be ultimate shitty, and more Will Style than Boogie, I think.

Astronomers continue to wrangle over a proposal to define the term “planet,” one they can at least agree to vote on Thursday at a meeting of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in Prague. [..] Just to illustrate how crazed the effort has become,

I'm telling you, the real force causing the continuation of this is BEER! Pilsner Urquell, Stella Artois, Budvar, a bunch I forget and all that. Followed closely by an infection some here may be familiar with known as bureaucraxitis. Rarely fatal, but oddly invigorating.

I've decided to deal with the pathologically whackos by doing my best to not spend any brain cells on them. Unless I'm really bored and am in the mood for a train wreck.

You know, the thing about Evil Dr. Will is, he has a real job. Do the rest of these jokers? That's gotta be why he can play all out and not give a shit. This is vacation to him, not his potential future.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I'm that old Buffista-wise, but also don't remember. S'okay.

Laundry, then nap. Tomorrow: fingerprints, "processing" (I don't even know what that means), Dept. of Public Health for a TB test, Social Security Administration for a duplicate social security card (despite the fact that every other time in my life anyone has ever asked for a social security card they've happily accepted a passport in its place), then the school. All on probably 4 hours of sleep. And accompanied by at least three separate explanations of why I've been fingerprinted for the state, but not the city; why I don't have a California credential; and why I haven't sent in my application for a California credential yet (the recruiting office of your district told me not to).

I'm awful tired just thinking about it. On the other hand, it looks like there may be no science involved after all, so that's a plus.
