Could Geologist V. Astronomer be the next Caveman V. Astronaut?
Aha. I thought you meant that like Workbook G. Cunts or something. Spam has ruined my brain.
Yesterday was migraine-free, although not pre-migraine free. So the upped meds may be some use.
This morning I'm squarely pre-migraine, and my day is 4 meetings deep, three before lunch. Which means no rest inbetween.
If the astronomers get to throw
their
plutons, I don't see the geologists lasting very long. On the other hand, geologists can actually throw their plutons without the aid of specialized technology.
Ha! It's real-life Caveman v. Astronaut!
Would you be allowed to use University buses?
Yes I can. And they haven't announced the routes for the school year yet, so there may be even more options once that happens.
Of course long-term I'd say/suggest looking for jobs at universities in warmer climates and possibly with better transportation.
Of course, I am thinking-- Alaska! I actually love the cold, but Rochester, as Tom can attest, is just particularly nasty and gross.
I think the thought will be to try this for a month and see what the what is. In that time, I should pray my car doesn't break, and in fact, I might save enough money to fix it up, since I won't be randomly stopping for dinner on my way home, etc. I was also thinking of taking a trip to the ginourmous food store and buying a lot of non-perishable groceries to tide me over.
sounds like a good plan Sophia - and if it snows before you decide - dig out your car so it oesn't become an ice lump. and start it every so often ( once a week?) to make sure it keeps running.
"In celebration of your life-change"?
Of course, that sounds like it's for a Wookie....
Hee. It sounds a little to me like she's entering a convent. Which she's not.
Narrator-- how about Best Wishes?
Oh, I like that!
How about AU REVOIR!?
Without the ?.
This, too!
Narrator, you could say Congatulations or We'll miss you (or don't pop any corn).
Hee. "Enjoy your new job. Stay away from the micowave."
Off to do work. And then order cake.
Anyone watch Prison Break last night? I'm pleased they
killed off Robin Tunney
and liking the Fichtner.
I missed PB. Am sad. Love Fichnter. Remember him from ATWT as Lily's dad. WHo was her cousin. OR something.
Also, the 43 folders blog is asking for the most unusual use of excel. My most unusual use of excel was figuring out that if you changed one letter of "sprinkle" the closest thing to a word you would come up with was "krpinkle" . I am not sure how to explain that, but Excel worked wonders with the "fill down" capability.
Oh, Sophia, you have to put that in.
