"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Babyshower pictures are up in F2F.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My headache specialist concurred and said that my sinus headaches were probably migraines, and I could consider treating them with my migraine medications.

Please. They're unpleasant, but I only have so many triptans to go around.

Turned out I was being picked up. Which is good. Because lazy. But I really should have known.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Your headache specialist tried to pick you up?

Isn't that counter productive in the "honey I've got a headache" sense?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My headache specialist is particularly huggy, but I don't think she's macking on me. C'mon people. Follow my twists of thought.

Keep up or get left behind.

Though you get to rest now, because it's totally my bedtime, and I have to take my be-Gimleted self to sleep.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My headache specialist concurred and said that my sinus headaches were probably migraines, and I could consider treating them with my migraine medications.
I object!

Not that I disagree, but I totally object. I don't have enough migraine meds to deal with the stuff I didn't know was migraines before now.

It might make sense, but I don't have to like it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It could be sinus headaches triggering migraines -- I wouldn't be surprised, seriously.

I've just spent an hour I didn't have playing Jigsawdoku. Bad Theo! I'd punish myself with no breakfast, but I'll be damn sorry if I do.

No shit. I'm already way beyond the amount of meds that the doctors say I should take, not to mention the insurance company.

But Sudafed doesn't touch them, so it's a question of comfort.

It used to be that normal headaches would become migraines for me, but if we count sinus as migraine, I have had very few normal headaches recently. Straight to migraine.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, my new boss? On vacation for two weeks. I guess she'll actually be working from the beach this week, but still! I wasn't taking time this summer because I'm so new, and I've got two months of seniority on her!

Coding and Sleeping

I hope you can get your head fixed ita.

Insent DavidS

I've seen the quick vacation happen quite a bit with new people at places I've worked, don't know why.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

They're usually leaving an old job that they disliked enough to find a new job, and have oodles of unspent vacation time. It's a burnout thing. Starting a new job without a break between the job that drained your soul can burn you out bad. It's a fresh start, recuperation.
