The worst thing about jammed fingers is that if you wrap it or keep it still, it usually stops hurting enough that you forget about it and try to use it. Then, OUCH.

I got mine at Loehmann's.
Needless to say, Bloomingdale's was a disaster. I think I was in there for 15 minutes, including going to the bathroom and looking at clearance shoes. Maybe Macy's tomorrow. Or maybe I just wear my trashed bathing suit for the one last time I may wear it this summer, and deal with it next year.

I hate doing a mega clean of the litterboxes. It is so much easier when you have a back yard and a hose. I actually managed to ram my head into the tile and turn on the shower at the same time. Yay pain and ide cold dousing.

After my laundry finishes, I think I'll go buy groceries. And then dye my hair. I am determined to do something interesting and non chorelike tomorrow. I may not suceed, but I'm clearing the plate.

I spent the day with friends and their 4.5 year old. I need a nap. Thankfully not from the day, I think from the previous week.
I also got a free rocking chair today. it is white and big and I like it.

No, I've gotten sucked into the breakup between EM and her ex-fiance. And I wouldn't except that it's affecting Emmett. But I just spent an hour talking to both of them separately.
Trust me, I'm not doing anything to negotiate stuff. But he needed to be told that there are important Boundaries that cannot be crossed including showing up unannounced in an upsetting manner, particularly when kids are there.
In Seinfeldian parlance, he's a bad breaker-upper.
