Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Engagement rings are given on occasion of an engagement. Wedding rings are given on occasion of a wedding. There are other differences, but that's the biggie.

Cindy--imagine the person is between you and the exit. Imagine they're not approaching you, but moving for one of your kids.

Running isn't always the option--it's the option we want to enable, but there are a number of possible obstacles.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

So, are morning coats supposed to be only worn in the morning?

I have heard the Amber mining industry is horrible.

All this time, I never knew amber was mined. I thought it was collected aboveground.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

So, are morning coats supposed to be only worn in the morning?

Yes, but only if "morning" is defined as "the part of the day that comes before dinner".

What is even happening?

Cindy--imagine the person is between you and the exit. Imagine they're not approaching you, but moving for one of your kids.

Running isn't always the option--it's the option we want to enable, but there are a number of possible obstacles.

I don't know what I'd do other than get between the person and my child. I would kick if I could. If I had to get in his grasp to ensure my children could flee, I'd do that though, too (I hope).

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Morning coats are formal daywear.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm probably not allowed to scream "GETOUTGETOUTGETOUT" at our new associate, am I?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

CNN is trying to cofirm that a suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey murder was arrested in Thailand this morning.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm probably not allowed to scream "GETOUTGETOUTGETOUT" at our new associate, am I?

Give me his/her number and I will scream it into the phone.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

a suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey murder was arrested in Thailand this morning.

Okay, wait, they're blaming some random person in Thailand now?? Hello to the magic bullet theory!

(kidding, kidding)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I know that amber from the Baltic region is actually collected on beaches -- it washes up on a regular-enough basis that it's an industry. (Amber is very light, for a precious stone!)
