That's what I was hoping it would do, Jess. But if you only enter (for example) the circumference, it tells you the diameter is zero and both calculated and rounded pi are infinity.
I suspect the mathers are having one over on me.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's an unbelievably badly coded page, in both mathy and java terms.
Paul's Page of Pi has a few different ways to calculate the extra digits.
This page lists the first few thousand of them.
My middle school had Pi written on the walls of one stairwell (this was a math/science magnet program, and the stairwell in question led to the computer lab), and so I managed to memorize the first 10-ish digits purely by osmosis. (3.1415926535897...)
