You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Watching Finding Nemo and making dark chocolate cupckaes and ganache.

Speaking of Nemo I've been pondering that I can't think of many animated movies which have featured a mother-child relationship at the core.

We saw Monster House yesterday and it was much better than I expected. We saw the 3-D version and the effects were spectacular. Even without the 3-D though, it was beautifully made and detailed, and much scarier than expected.

I enjoyed it a lot more than I enjoyed Cars, which I'm thinking will be one of Pixar's least loved pictures. Which is unfortunate since I actually know somebody that worked on it. Oh well, they'll bounce back with Ratatouille.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Wasn't it a father-child relationship in Nemo?

Sleeping Beauty has the most archetypal fucked-up stepmother-child relationship, but I'm thinking that's not exactly what you meant, Hec.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Are we fighting for ita's hand?

Seems strangely appropo....

Lessee... I'm not trained in fighting, but I'm mean and go straight for the trach.

ita, I'll always have a job (teacher), you can have outside relationships for sex and companionship, we can share books and movies and possibly shoes, and I'm a Virgo, so if you'll do the laundry, I'll scrub the toilet.

How's about it, babe?

Oh, and mother-child relationships...what about Bambi?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Are we fighting for ita's hand?
I want the ganached cupcakes.

so if you'll do the laundry, I'll scrub the toilet.

Wait, wait... not to complicate things, but I want to marry Erin just for this phrase.

Technically I want the sweets and then to go boy watching together.

Wait, wait... not to complicate things, but I want to marry Erin just for this phrase.
I was kinda thinking this as well. Erin, do you vacuum or iron? Because I might have to take up polygamy...

Watching Finding Nemo and making dark chocolate cupckaes and ganache.

Oooh. I like. I'm making corn muffins and drinking iced coffee, but that's not quite the same as ganache and dark chocolate cupcakes!!!
