Stop talking about moving to PDX. If more Buffistas moved there I might be convinced, and I HATE MOVING.

But once you're in Portland, you NEVER have to move again!

At least, that's my thinking.

It's the airport abbreviation for Portland. And somehow it got expanded to mean the whole city.

What Suela said. I don't know if it's actually common outside of geek circles, but I picked it up from a boyfriend who lived in the area, and never managed to drop it.
