A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I think if you plunked down an astronaut to FIGHT a caveman, the astronaut-trained-in-Israel would kick the caveman's ass.

However, said astronaut would probably not survive in the Neolithic world as well as Captain Caveman.

(God, who remembers THAT cartoon? I loooooved it as a 7 yearold. CAPTAIN...CAAAAAVVVEEEEEEEE-MAN!)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Funny that no one has mentioned Uli-- the show is really pushing her but it seems obvious to me that all her stuff is the same. (Find crazy fabric. Add contrasting fabric. Design halter dress. Rinse. Repeat.) Jeff, OTOH, hasn't made anything good. My final three would be Robert, Michael, and I guess Alison though I don't like her for some reason.

love how the judges were so surprised how well he could talk about his design. I was like, "DUDES! If you had let him talk before, you would have known this WEEKS AGO."

Admittedly, two of the judges hadn't seen him before.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

bon -- why robert? I haven't really seen anything great from him.

eta:

Admittedly, two of the judges hadn't seen him before.

and how much did we love DVF saying "i've worn a lot of hot pants, and those are good ones."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I like Uli's dress, but really have only seen the one thing from her. I wish Robert would get his shit together.

Admittedly, two of the judges hadn't seen him before.

Did he ever make it to the runway chat portion before this, though? I think no.

So much! I loved every conversation about those damn shorts.

Punishingly Intricate

and how much did we love DVF saying "i've worn a lot of hot pants, and those are good ones."

So very much! !!! I liked Robert's first dress but I have to agree that he's been boring since then. And ITA about Uli. I want them to have a challenge that prevents her from making a halter dress and see what she comes up with then.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So, if astronaut vs. caveman happened on a squash court, who would win?

Strega - Aug 11, 2006 6:33:28 am PDT #2029 of 10001

Thus giving time for the astronaut to construct a hang glider out of bamboo and bear skins,

And then he can drop bombs on the caveman!

Oh, Ator.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

But I keep thinking it's a fish-out-of-water scenario for the astronauts, where they have no access to laser guns...

Unless JPL has made some groundbreaking advances that you're not allowed to tell us about, modern astronauts shouldn't have access to laser guns in a fish-in-water scenario.
