Ha! That's like one day a couple of weeks ago when my train home was fucked up -- the platform was packed with people, and the trains were full already, too. The announcement guy says, "The train is approaching the station. All you have to do is get on it." OH REALLY??

And then check it through to their destination.
well, if anyone suceeds in traveling today - I'd love to here confirmation that you can bring laptops, cellphones, etc.
I think the British government is hiding the truth because they don't think the average person can handle it. The danger is not, in fact, liquid versions of chemicals that can be combined into explodey mayhem -- the actual danger is....

I'll just say the timing is interesting. Yesterday's headline -- Lieberman loses primary; stance on war in Iraq blamed. Today's headline -- Terror threat in the skies.
I'll suspend judgment on why. But an interesting coincidence.
Asking for a little travel ~ma. We are supposed to leave LAX for London tomorrow evening. Not too worried because we are on a British carrier who is committed to getting all their flights out, but a little patented Buffista ~ma would be great. (also a little, no stolen iPod ~ma as we will have to check our hand luggage in London for the transfer flight to Leeds)

Though if you ask me - finding a ohter threat - but not catching it before just before it gets on a plane- tells me George and his buddies aren't doing a very good job.
