I have a friend who's some lawyer thing (corporate counsel? Did I make that up?) at a media company, and she describes herself as never having practiced law.
heh. In house counsel is the best. There's a learning curve when you get there, then you basically do the same thing all of the time. if something big comes along, you call outside counsel.
So male cows, female cows *and* bulls? The hell?
::quoting from memory::
So... Mickey is a mouse and can talk, Goofy is a dog and can talk... so what is Pluto?
I am seriously thinking about in-house counsel, though I'm on the litigation side. Billing hours sucks, business development sucks...
Oh, one of my sources of billables just settled. SUCKS!
How come Porkey the Pig doesn't wear pants?
I am so not drinking milk from that cow.
So the male...bovines, notcows are metrosexual, then.
For me, I am glad to have read it though because I know how to deal with migraines. And I've had plenty of sinus headaches recently that have left me shaking and in tears and whining here. Now? I can use some of the migraine skills against them and see if that helps more.
Yep, this. Plus, it'll give me more info to give the doctor when I go see him again.
That's all I was trying to say. To the extent that it's helpful, it's good to know. It's not worth feeling worse over, though. The symptoms are the same, regardless of the label.
I don't think it's possible to feel worse based on an NY Times article.
Or maybe I'm just scraping the bottom of the migraine barrel.
Just got off the phone with a developer who doesn't understand the difference between time estimates for a) effort and b) durations. I'm not entirely clear he gets dependencies either. Yet, I'm having to base the meaty parts of a huge project plan on his word. You'd better believe everything's being cced to his manager before it ever goes to higher management.
