an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Huh. I've never thought I had migraines, but I *do* have sinus headaches once a week or so, occasionally bad enough that I get dizzy. That's... not good.

(also, am really freaked out by the male-cows-with-udders in Barnyard, and encourage everyone to see Monster House instead.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just have to keep you people posted with whatever is going on in my life!

Well, yeah. Isn't that what we do here?

eta: I'd be interested to see what you think of BB:AS, and if you still have Dr. Will love.

What is even happening?

If they have udders, why are people here assuming they're male? Is it the voice work? Or are the characters put forth as male, somehow?

Duh! (that was to Jesse.)

The uddered-boy cow has a male voice. AND REALLY PROMINENT UDDERS.

Yes, this annoys me.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Maybe udders on male cows are like human men growing breasts due to chemical imbalances or steroid use. Those boy-cows aren't gender-ambiguous, they're just on the juice!

Just... everything I read about that movie upsets me. Not only do the boy cows have udders, the movie is all about a father-son relationship, and apparently they make fun of girls cows! Who also have udders! This makes no sense! Give me carnivorous houses any day.

I'm pleased someone else shares my outrage.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The characters are explicitly male cows. The central storyline is between a father and a son...cow. There are also female cows in the movie, one of whom is pregnant, and a love interest for the son. And there are also bulls.

The whole thing just makes my head explode with wrongness.
