Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a friend who's some lawyer thing (corporate counsel? Did I make that up?) at a media company, and she describes herself as never having practiced law.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, I think I'm about to bail. All three of my meetings this afternoon will have to be held with me prone. Or supine. Whichever. Erect ain't cutting it.

Plus I'm now convinced that my clothes, although breaking no corporate rule, are not business casual appropriate. The dress, a black jersey, is T-shirt style with a metal belt slung between waist and hips. Combined with low sandals, and even a great big orange glass ring and a black and silver bracelet, it feels too relaxed.

Pfah.

Clearly you have to send yourself home for dresscode violations.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I have a friend who's some lawyer thing (corporate counsel? Did I make that up?) at a media company,

No, that's fine. Or in-house counsel.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Wow, Jesse. Thanks for that link.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

DH has an interview with DB up at tvguide.com (he only talks about Bones, so I figured this would be a better thread than B/A).
