I couldn't believe it the first twenty times you told us, but it's starting to sink in now.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I like your family, Jars. Can I share with you? Pretend to be some long lost cousin from the colonies?

Um, me too?!

Also, ~ma and punctuation to beth, Sparky & DH & pilots, and ongoing to Sean & S, JZ and Halloweenie. My punctuation and ~ma list is getting too long!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, man, Aimee! That's just cuteness overload!

They wear well. You could save 'em for future kidlets, too.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JZ and the Halloweenie are just fine. She's on the couch alternately reading Robin Hobb (who I got on Fay and Consuela's recommendation) and watching Colbert light saber against a green screen.

A week from tomorrow I take Emmett to his first day of school, then come back to lobby the doctor to take her off bedrest before I go insane.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

When my late father was in the ICU nurse/patien ratio varied from 1/5 (when all nurses showed up) to 1/10 (when nurses ran into personal emergencies).

I don't even know where to begin with how unacceptable a staffing ratio that is. I'm so sorry your dad didn't get the care he deserved.

It's kind of funny. Em is 21 months old, born in November. Mia is 6 months old, born in February, and Baby Girl Yet To Be Named will be born in January. Mia's mom and I are doing Round Robin with matrnity clothes, and then the 3 of us will do the same thing with baby clothes.

Which reminds me, I have to go through Em's closet and dresser and bins again. Bah. REALLY hate sorting her clothes, although it could be worse since she is so wee and doesn't grow out of things that quickly. She still wears mostly 12-18 months.

JZ and the Halloweenie are just fine.

I mostly had them on my list as a preventative measure and for dealing with boredom. I figure more ~ma and punctuation rarely go amiss.

Hec, did you get the stuff from Target?
