Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Damn, and the cat just throwed up. The vet is soooooo stressful for her that I would rather not put her through that but she's got me worried right now.

Guess I should see if I can trim a couple of her claws just in case.

She seems fine except for the vomiting. But vomiting is not an attribute of healthy usually.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I don't know.... Mine tends to throw up a lot, especially if he's bored (boredom eating leading to overfull tummy leading to puking), or angry with the other cats (which has gone down a lot since I moved), or angry with me (solveable with catnip), or needs brushing (furball leading to other puking).

Mostly lurking...

Totally unrelated to anything...

I've been invited to two friends' wedding in Chicago at the end of September. What does one wear to an outdoor afternoon wedding at the end of September? I'm thinking I'm going to have to buy something, because most of my stuff is more eveningish. I think.

Our wings are not tired.

I think I would have accomplished more if I had napped. At least sleep would have happened. Must do stuff. Don't wanna.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Skippy. Just home for a few moments.

Yesterday was a pretty rough day for both S and I. Physically, she's slowly improving, but apparently five plus days in an ICU, with lights on and noise 24/7 can really take a toll on you mentally (as can caring for someone in said position). We're both doing better today, but we're both quite exhausted.

She'll probably stay in the ICU for at least another day, to make sure she's staying stable, but her release is probably still several days away.

Thanks to everyone for all your ~ma, love and well-wishes. It really does help.

Yeah, if it were Puppycat? She is just puketastic.

But Kittenish usually is not. And it is the Kittenish who tossed twice or thrice today.

But she is curled up next to me right now and seems okay. A little pissed because I just trimmed whichever claws of hers were slicing me.

I'll fold some laundry and keep an eye on her.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

(((S)))

Hello! Am in Bangkok. Am somewhat the worse for alcofrol, so apologies for any wobblieness of this post. Go me! Am now 33! V. exciting. Also, job seems v. promising - am presently in swanky 5 star hotel in centre of Bangkok with assorted new coworkers, and school seems to be A Good Thing. As does Thailand - y'all need to come visit. It fucking rocks like a rocking th ing.

Things so far:

- on first day, went to buy toothpaste, as had notne. Toothpaste turned out, surprisingly, to be sludgy greenbrown colour. Upon closer examination, tube announced apologecitilly "toothpaste is black because of REAL HERBS!!"

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday Fay!

I'm so glad you and Daniel have arrived safely.

I'm pleased to see you drunk-posting and apparently whooping it up with your new co-workers.

{{Sean and S}} I'm sorry you two are going through all this. All the best ~ma to both of you.
