Next week will be the anniversary of my whirlwind trip to Arizona to capture a windsparrow and bring her back here to Minnesota.
I left Minnesota on the 25th, got to Arizona on the 28th, and got back here with all and sundry on the 3rd of July.

Long day and I'm still up. This is uber-late for me.
K-Bug did great at practice today. She didn't run, but she did just about everything else that she could. When the girls had to do sprints when they messed up, she did crunches. I was happy to see her step up and not just play the injured player role. Hopefully she can do more on Thursday so she will be in game play shape for Saturday. They have 10 games scheduled between Saturday and Thursday - plus more after that once bracket play starts.
Our Utah trip is off. Her coach has decided to skip that and do a local tournament instead and get the girls ready for Nationals. He is hoping they will be able to qualify at the July 10th tournament.
I know all this is greek and all - I'm just so happy that we will only have 2 out of state trips instead of 3.
