Ok, the fact that I found this under an image search for "penguin" is unfortunate.

I have these translucent plastic penguins that sit on a mirror and look decorative. I also have a wee penguin that is mean to hang from a pull chain on a ceiling fan or whatnot. I have no such hanging chains right now, so the wee penguin is sitting on the mirror, also. It looks like a penguin appealing to his spirit ancestors.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!
so someone rang my door bell tonight ( 7ish) another kid selling magazines
and then it rang again my neighbor - DH couldn't get me to answer the phone. turns out our answering machine is answering after two rings - so the second phone ( right next to the computer )isn't ringing. and with all the fans in the house going I heard nothing ) if he emailed me he would have known I was fine. Looks like we need a new phone. ptui.
