Hooray for Raq's no-cancer biopsy. We could use some more good news around here.
Happy Debet Day! Hope Colorado is still beautiful. I miss it already.
{Sean + S.} Glad to hear feeding and cheering up services are coming from our fabulous LA-istas. Thanks guys. Wish I could mail you a peach pie.
In News About Me: Baby kitty Sophie had her first trip to the vet yesterday and is officially healthy and "very sweet." The funny thing about Sophie is that she doesn't like to be petted. (??!!!) That's hard on us since we're a family of big-time kitty petters and we just want to run our fingers over her soft, dense fur. Pet Sophie and she will stand up, walk away, reposition self just out of reach. She doesn't stop purring and will blink at me affectionately, so it's not rejecty or hostile, just definite. Little nerf. However, it seems that going to the vet has put the fear of What-If? into her. She was content to huddle in my arms while we were there, and she's made a point out of coming close and purring at me several times since we got home. I even got some affectionate licks. I think she's probably got the cutest little cat butt in the world because half is orange and half is black.
Biopsy results - not cancer.
Phew! Good news. I'm hungry for good news.
THIS! Yay Raq!!!
HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY, DEBET!
Echoing Kristin with the Yay good news!
EX-cellent news, Raq.
Awww, I miss Sophie. Pin her down and skritch her chin for me, just for sheer perversity.
To quote Lush, I'm waving, not drowning, just running by to say hi, and send S and Sean good wishes, wish Debet a Happy Birthday, and general hellos and greetings all 'round.
I love you, Cindy. I was thinking the same thing about Gris.
I was also glad to see that the comments did not go unmentioned. I was beginning to worry there for a moment as I was catching up.
Colorado is gorgeous, and temperate (right now), and just lovely.
Yay, kitty!
Yay, birthday wishes!

I miss Colorado. Weather-wise, it's the best place I've ever lived. Scenery-wise, it can't be beat. Which city are you in, Debet?
Half an hour outside of Aspen. A little town called Carbondale. I live up a mountain just outside of town.
Oh Beverly! Hi and hail well to you.
I've been thinking of you everytime I hug, pet and call my Fairy Oracle deck George.
I even used it in a client session last night...to surprisingly good effect.
