Librarian Warlord

true, but that's what caller ID is for :)

I forget about that, since I don't have it on my home phone.

Yay, Raq!

Happy Birthday, Debet!

Hilarious Em!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Thanks, Aimee (eta: and Sparky). I'm going out for lunch and having pie. Not yet, but that's the plan.

Where I'm from, there's volunteer firefighters, so, really, there's a chance that any truck could be a fire truck!

I have no opinion on the best way to end a relationship.

What is even happening?

If you're sure you're not into her, do it kindly, but truthfully, in whatever way that ensures you don't string her along. I'd rather the e-mail than silence. If I were into the guy, I might both resent he didn't say, "Thanks but no thanks," in person, and be grateful, so he didn't see me cry. I'm agnostic to phone break ups.

That said, if you're into her for now (even if you know she's not the long-haul girl for you) is that a problem? Do all dating relationships have to involve big commitment? Is she only looking for a serious-commitment person (I mean, do you know that, from the eHarmony info.)?

Hey. New board.

Yeah, I know that. For both me and her, big commitment is the goal.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Morning.....

Gris, the only rec I have is to end it kindly and quickly.

So, I basically got this haircut. I am assured that it's not at all emo and still a little punk, but I'm still casting doubting looks at it.

Hmmm. You and I have more or less the same haircut.

I think maybe I won't be posting pictures.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

NO CANCER FOR RAQ = TEH AWESOME

Gris, I have a friend who's dealing with a guy who's giving her HORRENDOUS mixed signals (way worse than you), so my knee-jerk advice is to agree with everyone that you ought to tell her before she gets the wrong idea.

There's a rather attractive young Indian woman floating around these past couple days, but she's an auditor, so I probably shouldn't have sex with her.

A co-worker of mine with good fashion sense is wearing a black top with a black skirt today. I said, "You look Halloween-y."

She turned, puzzled. "Is that a compliment?"

"Yes," I said, thinking of Jilli.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Sing "I Feel Pretty". or maybe "Mandy" at the top of your lungs.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Raq!!!!!!!! Happy news!!

Happy Birthday, Debet!!

{{Gris}} You've already gotten good advice, so I'll just commiserate with you.
