[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think I may need methadone by then.
Genius Bar before we call TOD?

Ok, music and age is funny.
The times they are a'changing?

I'm so happy for Pamela and her DH, and for baby Julia who is now in such a good loving home! Best news!
It just really is.

I was such a wreck when her Hodgkin's recurred and then the bone marrow transplant. And I came here in my meltdown.

It is so wonderful now that I get to share this happy news now. I'm just thrilled to see her not just healthy but holding her child.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Do you want the Shuffle back, sweetie?

Nope-- still got the nano and the really old one.

Oh, and I take no responsibility for your sunburn, but I will happily buy you a mojito.

I can live with that.

Genius Bar before we call TOD?

I guess.

Yay for Pamela and family!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay for wonderful adoption news - both Pamela and msbelle's. Good news is definitely needed here, and this is some of the best.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Very tired now. Just got home from the hospital. S is in the ICU overnight, and they'll be keeping her there for at least a little while to keep an eye on her.

I'm not doing so hot. This is all taking a bit of a toll on me. For the first time since I moved out here, I'm very sad that I have no family, or even any of S's family out here. I'm definitely suffering from a lack of in-person hugs, or something.

I know, I have many friends here in town, I don't mean to discount any of you. And I know you all have generous offers of help out to me, but I'm maybe a little too much of a wreck to figure out what I need.

Maybe sleep will help.

What is even happening?

{{{Sean}}} I'm sorry there's a continent between us. This is the most dissatisfying aspect of internet friendships--when your friends are in the sort of need that you could meet (somewhat) in person. I've felt it keenly these last couple of weeks. Health to S and peace and strength to you both.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Sean, sweetie. I wish there was something I could do other than send a big internet hug. Hope you're sleeping soundly now and have a little more energy in the morning. We'll always be there, though.

I'm getting the pig!

{{{Sean}}} I wish I could do more. Healing and great future health ~ma for S.

I'm so very glad she found you, Sean. I'd hate to think of her going through this difficult time alone.

Sorry for the utterly inadequate bracket hugs, but I'm out of words on this. You two need a break.
