That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{Beverly}} Oh, bebe, strength, love, peace and recovery to you and yours today.

MUch love and good thoughts to Bev and family.

I have slain my recent insomnia demons. Slept every night for the past five days and have woken up not only at a reasonable time but early even. Damn.

Cass, that's so weird, because the last week, I have been the same way! And school starts tomorrow (for teachers, at least) so I am very, very relieved.

Beverly, all thoughts, prayers, and love are with you, StE, and your family.

Erin, when I was posting I was so thinking about you and hoping that you'd been having the same "whoa, sleep at night and then waking early" experience still as well. Good news!

Hope you have a lovely first day of school tomorrow.

I did stay in bed till about 11 today, but that's because I stayed up till about 1:30 reading last night.

Then the cats started burrowing under the pillow I had shoved over my face, and meowing plantively and insistently for food. So I got up.

I'm jazzed for the school year to begin!

Are we just sharing a life?
