Harrow: You didn't have to wound that man. Mal: Yeah, I know, it was just funny.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Enjoy, sj! Maybe now we'll be able to convince you to come visit more of us far flung Buffistas. Hint.

I just finished phone flirting with a man with the most gorgeous British accent ever. I think I'm going to have to start having more problems with my Sears MasterCard so I have a reason to speak to him again. He wears armor. You had to be there.

Always Anti-fascist!

Damn, Sail. Well, Dr. House seems to like it. "These are my drugs, and no, you can't have any."

Trust my rage

Calli, I don't know if you are still around, but I wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I'm hoping for as much peace as possible for you and your family.

What is even happening?

P-C, I hope your friend's HPV was caught quickly, and that treatment is effective, so that she has no serious or lasting effects.

...

On a completely different note, I've been enjoying Vox (new blogging service from SixApart). Tonight, I decided to tour the joint, a little. So far whenever I've done so, I've been impressed by the posts. Vox is via invite only still, and for a little while, I forgot it was even on the same internets as other places.

Then I was reminded:

Wow i actually think this is better then gay myspace. Man you can actually blog on this its like myspace for techy's. So msn is awesome but seriously everyone needs to update so much more extras WINDOWS LIVE. I'd like to say that i hat fascism, racism, and predigest. Wow so i was about to get a Myspace account but i got an invite for vox anyways I'm off to explore some more. >[link]

Somedays, there's not enough sigh in the world.

That made my brain hurt. Ow.

ION, dinner was delicious. A turkey burger with cumin, onion salt, and pepper, plus roasted asparagus, and fresh, local corn on the cob. Sooooo gooooood.

Always Anti-fascist!

"Is being an idiot like being high all the time?" Yeah, I watched "The Matchmaker" today. JG in movies trips me out cause my friend Joy is like her fricking twin. Good flick, though. Not expecting DL to be the villain since he's gone all Antihero.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I've been overwhelmed with cards and kindness.
I am glad to hear this, Calli. You should be surrounded with love. My thoughts are with you. I just cannot imagine the loss.

I just found out a friend of mine tested positive for HPV. She doesn't yet know whether she has cervical cancer.
Ah hell, PC. I hope she doesn't develop cancer ever but at least she knows to be very proactive with the pap tests from now on.

I can't believe that we've developed a vaccine and there's a fucking backlash. Are there people who would risk their daughters getting CANCER because they might have teh sex? I know I have my issues but this is boggling.

I've got quite the family history of various goolie and goolie-adjacent cancers so I am meticulous about going in religiously. And I know that if there had been a vaccine, my mom or my stepmom would have hauled me in to the needle place in a heartbeat. And I would have thanked them.

Laura, I totally get the glaring at your MiL. My mother - whom I love, adore and am often envious of for her Life Zen - doesn't get the damn tests. After cervical cancer... Sometimes I want to tranq her and haul her to a good gyn...

Absolutely. I bought him baseball cards and comic books and now we're going out for a nice dinner.
Yay sj and the fabulous teacup guy!

Am gronk. Might be an early night. That would be just shiny with me.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Somedays, there's not enough sigh in the world.

Ugh.

Of course, I need to make some time for Vox in the near future. Right now, I'm pricing laptops.

Does anyone know if anyone has YouTubed the opening of The Colbert Report with the video of the Colbert Kid? I missed the show and I'm dying to see it.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'd like to say that i hat fascism, racism, and predigest.

Yeah, I hat them too. Well, the first two anyway. What's the last one, where you spew enzymes all over your food and then suck it up through a straw? I'd hat that as well.

Calli, I'm sorry to hear about your mother. I wish all possible comfort for your family.
