Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I made it through my first stats class. I don't think it's going to be as bad as I anticipated. Now that technology is so advanced, they don't focus on the calculations so much anymore. Instead, they focus on interpreting the results. So it's more concept-oriented than numbers-oriented. At least that's what the prof said. I also made a class buddy named Monica, who is about my age and is also taking the class as a pre-req. It was actually kinda fun being in the classroom again, taking notes and participating in class discussions. I'll have to come back and look at this post when I'm deep in it and it's not so much fun anymore, huh?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good lord, Sail! What a thing to happen.

Good luck with the interview, connie, whatever you decide to do with your hair.

Gloomcookie, when I took Stats a coule of years ago, it was mostly conceptual stuff and how to use your calculator/excel. I hope it stays fun for you.

They're working on the carport in the parking lot behind my backyard again. This effectively puts the workcrew right outside my kitchen window. And that makes me want to stay the hell out of my kitchen. I should get over that so I can have some sort of breakfast, right?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Good luck, Sail.

Announcement: I'm in love with Christian Kane's singing voice.

Analysis: I need to move to LA or Nashvegas to better stalk him. Clearly, this is the only rational solution.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

(And by rock I mean 'can contain fanvids'.)

Exactly!

I feel vaguely guilty about this decision nonetheless.

{{{Kristin}}} I hope you're getting some good sleep right now, hon.

Juliana, clearly, he just needs to move to SF.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Juliana, clearly, he just needs to move to SF.

What Plei said. That is a MUCH better solution.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Reader, suppose you were an idiot,” wrote Mark Twain, on what was inevitably a day not much dissimilar to the day you're reading this on. “And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.”

Victor - I'm remember reading MT waying this about school boards. He did not care for Congress either - so it is not impossible he said it about them as well; but are you sure he did?
