[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Bev!!! Waking-up-vibes sent your way!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Nothing big. Just incompetent car rental people who don't call me back all day and say things such as, "A hand controlled car? You mean like for like handicapped people?" in incredulous voices that make me want to smack them. Oh, and apparently I become a total bitca when I have to rely on other people to drive me around, even if that person if my wonderful boyfriend who is actually being quite good about the whole thing. I hate relying on anyone for anything ever.

Now I am the one who sucks for missing Bev's post. I really hope he wakes up soon. Tons of vibes.

Our wings are not tired.

sj, you do not suck. It is so very frustrating to be without transportation. We all have to rely on others sometimes. I don't like it much either. Hugs to you and to teacup guy for being wonderful.

Thanks, Laura. I think it is the disability that just makes me extra stubborn in the, "No, I can do it by myself" way because I have had to tell that to so many people who wanted to "help" me over the years. I hate being dependent on anyone for things like transportation. It makes me itchy, and right now I just want to know that I can get to therapy by myself on Wednesday because I certainly need it this week.

I understand sj. Remind yourself that the acceptance of help is temporary and due to circumstances not under your control. Do you have any idea when your car will be repaired?

"In a few days."

Ick. I hate those kind of answers.

ION, we have a bonfire going out back with the rotted lumber DH replaced on the shed. Fire pretty. I took pictures. Now I just need to actually post them.
