Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

hotdish on a stick

I think I just felt my arteries clog up.

Today was really long. It was great. Normally days, especially weekend days, whiz by, but today I kept looking at the clock and finding it was about 3 hours earlier than I thought. I got so much done, but at a relaxed weekend pace.

All is well that ends in pizza.

It's hot here. Not as hot as the 100's we had last weekend, but muggy and in the 80's.

I just came in from doing chores outside and couldn't stand the itchyness of my besweated scalp, so I used the (empty) kitchen sink to give myself a quick dish-soap shampoo until I can do a proper job later. My shirt got wet, of course, so I hung it on the back of a chair and sat down at my computer desk and lay back with the fan on me.

I mention this only because I noticed a curious thing. Harvey came over and, as is his norm, jumpedup on me, but only so far as my pants. He set no foot on my bare chest. He just stopped at my lap.

I'm wondering if my chest squicks him, or maybe Andi trained him to keep off bare skin.

odd.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

There's a guy on the TT cats' thread whose Abyssinian trained him to always shave stripped to the waist. The cat would leap from the floor to his shoulder, and if he was bareskinned the cat would keep his claws retracted. If he was wearing clothes--even just a t-shirt--the cat would use claws.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Kittenish avoided bare skin for years. She slept next to or on top of me but there had to be clothes or sheet in between us. My arms seem to be fair game now though. No idea why.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just talked to Hec, and JZ is going home today, and in fact right about now.

YAY

Our wings are not tired.

Oh good news! I suspect she will be well cared for at home.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Just slounging about waiting for the chaplain to get here and give me Communion, and then homeward bound. For the rest of the week, possibly longer. Seeing my regular MD on Thurs, and she'll decide then whether and how soon I can go back to work.
